Haji Abdul Razak was appointed as the Chairman effective from 1 July 2019. Prior to this, he was Chief Executive of the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore since 7 August 2013 and retired in December 2018 after 43 years in the public service. As a Chief Executive, he was also appointed as a member of the Islamic Religious Council. His past appointments were in the Syariah Court and the Community Relations Unit for the then Ministry of Community Development and Sports. Haji Abdul Razak also served as a Director on Mendaki Board from 2013-2018. He is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors.
He is currently a Technical Director with ARC Sciences and serves as a board member of Centre for Research on Islamic and Malay Affairs (RIMA), a subsidiary of AMP Singapore and a member of the MUIS Council.
Amran has been the Honorary Treasurer for RISEAP, Regional Islamic Da’wah Council of Southeast Asia & the Pacific, for the past 10 years. Previously, Amran was one of the founding board members of Al Rajhi Bank Malaysia and was the CEO of Al-Hidayah Investment Bank. Amran was on the board of Sengenics Corporation, Stone Apple Solutions, Yamako Pacific, MDT Innovations and Pandu Logistics. He is currently a Partner with Gobi Partners.
He is a board member of Mendaki Holdings, Chairman of Suara Musyawarah, and a member of Muis Council. He is the Director of Human Capital, Consistel, and served as Director of Human Resources at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
She is an Associate Director with Architects 61 Pte Ltd and holds a professional registration with Board of Architects (Singapore) since 1989.
He is a Director and General Counsel of Quantedge Capital. He currently holds the appointments of Council Member of the National Arts Council, Council Member of the Charity Council, Board Member of Skillsfuture SG, Director of Mendaki SENSE, Executive Committee Member and Honorary Secretary of the Breast Cancer Foundation. He is also an Adviser to Five Pillars Pte Ltd and Financial Syariah Advisory & Consultancy, a division of PERGAS (Singapore Islamic Scholars & Religious Teachers Association).
